J.B. Buchanan

J.B. Buchanan age 70 of Snyder, TX, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas after a brief illness.

Memorial services for Mr. Buchanan will be held on Saturday, January 04, 2014 at 10:00 AM at North Side Baptist Church with Brother Dave Phillips officiating under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Buchanan was born on September 05, 1943 in Snyder, TX to J.C. and Eula May (Rogers) Buchanan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1971, doing two tours of duty in Vietnam. J.B. worked for A-1 Heating & Air and then worked on a farm in his later years. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

He is survived by:
4 Sisters -
Ruby Johnson, Louise Tatum, Jan Buchanan, and Juanita Buchanan, all of Snyder
2 Brothers -
V.L. Buchanan and wife Geneva, Snyder, TX
Dub Buchanan, Snyder
As well as numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Geneva Sheer, Evelyn Wiggins, and Joyce Buchanan; and 5 brothers, J.C. Buchanan, Buck Buchanan, Weldon Buchanan, Wayne Buchanan, and Tommy Buchanan.
