Lois Shirley Dove

Mrs. Shirley Dove, 90, passed away Saturday at the Snyder Oaks Care Center after a lengthy illness. Funeral service for Mrs.Dove will be at 2PM Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dove was born to the late Joe Allison and Mary Lois Fairley Thompson on Decem ber 17, 1919 in Scurry County and was a lifetime resident. She was married to James Albert "Jimmy" Dove on September 28, 1940 in Clayton NM. She was a housewife and member of the Ira Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, James Albert "Jimmy Dove, of Midland, a daughter and son-in-law Cheryl Kay and Marlon McWilliams; a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Max and Linda Dove of Midland; a sister, Jeanetta Bailey of Snyder; 4 grandchildren; Teressa Scharfenberg, Fort Worth; Michael Keith Dove, Midland; Tamara Gale Fouts, Midland; Tony McWilliams, Alamogordo NM; 16 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Doug McWilliams and two great grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Dove as well as two brothers and two sisters.

Vistation will be from 7 to 8 on Tuesday at Bell-Cypert-Seal
