Walter Willie Cave

Walter "Walt" Cave age 65 of Snyder, TX, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Covenant Medical Ctr. in Lubbock, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Military Graveside Services for Mr. Cave will be at 10 AM Wednesday at Hobbs Cemetery with Family officiating. Under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mr. Cave was born on Wednesday, January 23, 1946 in Rotan, Texas to Jim & Edna Ruth (Etheredge) Cave, He married Kay Green who preceded him in death May 27, 2004. Mr. cave was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam conflict. He received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Texas Highway Department and had also worked for Weaver Services Inc., Reef Chemical, Hobbs Gin and as a rancher.

Daughter - Kiva Childress, San Angelo, TX
(3) Son - Matthew Cave, Snyder, TX
Son - Chance Greenwood, Snyder, TX
Son - Zane Greenwood, Midland, TX
(19) Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by:
(2) Brothers: Fred & Joe Glenn Cave

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM Tues at Bell-Cypert-Seale F. H. .
