Balumn Grant age 93 of Snyder, TX, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Snyder Healthcare Center in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Grant was born on August 22, 1916 to the late Walter Houston Grant and Fannie Marydee (Crowder)Mr. Grant was a lifetime resident of Scurry County and Snyder and worked for Scurry County, Precinct 1 for many years before his retirement.

Mr. Grant will lie in state at Bell-Cypert-Seale Wednesday and Thursday. A private burial will be held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
