Edna Ellen Holmes age 90 of Snyder, TX, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Snyder Healthcare Center in Snyder, Texas after a brief illness.
Services for Mrs. Holmes will be at 2 PM Sunday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Mr. Dale Huff & Mr. Danny Holmes officiating. Interment will follow at Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holmes was born on Sunday, December 19, 1920 in Sweetwater, Tx. to Issac & Rosy (Cooper) Standefer. She was a housewife and A member of 37th Street Church of Christ. She joined the church in 1939 where she was baptized together with her husband Hilmer.
Survivors include:

Son - Darrell Holmes, Snyder, TX
(3) Grandchildren
Grand Son - Danny Holmes of Alabama
Grandaughter - Dawn Holmes, San Antonio, TX
Granddaughter - Christy Vincent, Skiatook, OK

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM Saturday Night at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
