Joe Olivarez age 40 of Snyder died September 24, 2011 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Mr. Olivarez will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Father Roy Badillas officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Olivarez was born on December 16, 1970 to Vincente and Elvira (Sanchez) Olivarez. He worked for his father with Olivarez Construction.
