Lois Catherine Allen passed away at her home in Snyder after a sudden illness. She was a homemaker. She loved being with her family and keeping up with the grandkids. The last two years she didnt miss a Tiger football game on the radio. She had to listen for Casey Coward"s name, which is her great grandson.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, a son, Kenneth Lowell Allen, a daughter, Linda Simons, a brother Kenneth Smith and two sons-in-law, James Patterson and Wayman Coward.



Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law: Laurie and Kevin Walker, Joan and Ed Foree and Cheryl Coward, all of Snyder and Juanita Patterson of Fort Smith Arkansas. One son, Bobby Allen of Snyder; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.



Funeral service for Mrs Allen will be at 10 AM Thursday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Pastor Rocky Alexader of the Ira Church of God officiating. Interment will follow in the Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.



The family will receive vistors at the Allen home at 600 19th Street.
