Bill Sam Houston

Mr. Bill Houston age 76 of Snyder, TX, died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his residence in Snyder, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Mr. Houston will be at 2 PM Sunday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Pastor Darold Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Houston was born July 8, 1935 in Fluvanna, Texas to Sam & Oma (Buchanan) Houston. Mr. Houston was a graduate of Hermleigh High School in 1953 and Graduated from McMurry College in 1957. He was inducted into McMurry"s Athletic Hall of Honor as a football player. He was a farmer and rancher who loved to fish, hunt and go camping. He enjoyed all sports and he also served in the National Guard.

Caroline, Rachel, Elaine, Meghan and Haley Houston

He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Houston of Snyder, Texas.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7PM Saturday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home .
