Mr. Alden Craig Carthel, 79, of Ira, TX, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at his home in Ira. A funeral service for Mr. Carthel will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Reverend Ryan Ford officiating. Burial will follow at 2 PM at Floyd County Cemetery in Floydada, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Alden was born on March 7, 1946, to A.C. and Dorothy (Byars) Carthel in Floydada, TX. He married Shirley Nelson on December 23, 2015 in Floydada, TX.
