Dolores Marie Jones

Mrs. Dolores Marie Jones, 87, of Snyder, TX, passed away on Tuesday, January 06, 2026, at Goodlife Senior Living. A memorial service for Mrs. Jones will be held at 10 AM, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder, with Reverend Reid Johnson Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Dolores was born on May 21, 1938, to Howard and Bessie (Shacklett) Ellis, in Ada, OK. Dolores married the love of her life, Howard Jones in March of 1957. During her life she worked as a real estate broker for many years and owned a number of properties and companies such as, Jack and Jack Realtors, Heritage Homes, and American Homefront Mortgage. Dolores had a love of traveling, and would take her and her family any and everywhere. There was no place too far or too short notice. Mrs. Jones was also an adept poker player in her life, and had a real interest and enjoyed the game. Above all she loved her family, the travels they took and the memories they shared. She will be remembered and missed as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her bright smile will be deeply missed by all.

Jarrett Vickers and wife Amanda of Alpine, TX;

Jak Vickers.

She was preceded in death by her,

Parents,

Howard and Bessie Ellis;

and Husband,

Howard Jones.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hough, Goodlife, and Hospice for taking excellent care of Mrs. Dolores.
