Edalia Darlene Goodart

Darlene Edalia Goodart, 86, of Snyder, Texas, passed away on April 22, 2026, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born on August 30, 1939, in Rotan, Texas.

Darlene was the heart and soul of her family a true matriarch whose presence brought strength, laughter, and love to all who knew her. She was known for her funny and feisty spirit, her big heart, and her incredible energy. She never slowed down and lived her life with passion and resilience, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Diana Zapata and Elida (Ellie) Medrano and husband Eddie Medrano. Her legacy continues through her 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Darlene is preceded in death by her daughter, Elva Vizcaino; her parents, Guadalupe Macias and Inez Macias; and her siblings, Raymond Macias and Eloise Vina.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the same location. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
