Faye Huff

Mrs. Elna "Faye" Huff, 96, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Amarillo Center for Skilled Care Nursing Home. A graveside service for Mrs. Huff will be held at 10 AM Thursday, July 3, 2025, at White Church Cemetery in Merkel, TX, with pastor Larry McAden officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Faye was born on May 27, 1929, to John Columbus and Vora (Turner) Frazier in Merkel, Texas. She grew up at White Church, went to school in Trent where she graduated. She married Buddy Huff July 7, 1950. One of her first jobs was working in a department store, in Kansas. They moved around a lot during their life together. She was a proud housewife that took care of the household and chores, but also was Dad's helper with whatever he needed; from fencing to working on windmills which almost caused a divorce several times..... if you know you know. She also worked cattle, cooked for us and she was always the one to take care of everyone but herself. She had a very full life, she had a quiet faith but was close to God knowing His word. She loved hard and full. She was full of piss and vinegar. She loved her grandchildren very much.

Faye is survived by her,

Chyrel Schultz and husband Marty of Amarillo, TX,

Leta Blewett and husband Jessie of Midland, TX;

1 Brother,

David Frazier of Gonzales, TX;

6 Grandchildren;

15 Great-Grandchildren;

and 16 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her,

John and Vora Frazier;

Husband,

William D. Huff;

Son,

Bill Huff;

1 Great-Grandson,

Jaekob Blewett;

2 Sisters,

Aileene Cook,

Jimmie Nell Frazier;

3 brothers,

Wallace Frazier,

Elby Frazier,

And Billy Wayne Frazier.
