Guadalupe "Lupe" Morales Suarez

Lupe Suarez, 86, passed away Friday August 8, 2025 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos, Texas after a lengthy illness.  There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Lupe was born on November 19, 1938 in Fabens, Texas. During her childhood her family relocated to Snyder, Texas. She married Joe Suarez on September 9, 1966. Lupe was a hard working charitable person who never met a stranger. She was always working to serve the public as she enjoyed working with and meeting people. She started her career at Bea Owens Dress Shop and continued in retail by working at Cox's Jewelry, Thompson's Shoe Store, and Classic Interior's just to name a few. She was a faithful member of Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Snyder, Texas. Lupe and her family relocated to Seguin, Texas in 2003. Here she started her volunteer work and also became a member of St. James Catholic Church and of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas of Seguin, Texas. Her volunteer work included the Food Pantry and also several Seguin area nursing homes. She was most proud of her eighteen years of volunteer work at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin, Texas. When home she enjoyed working in her garden and with her flowers and reading and keeping up with her faith.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Suarez, Seguin, Texas. Daughter Mary Ann Suarez/Maria Rosario of Georgetown, Texas. A brother, Robert Morales of Snyder, Texas and two nieces Rosario Peralez of Fort Stockton, Texas and Cathy Deltoro of San Antonio, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marciano and Soledad Morales, two sisters, Delores Peralez and Julia Morales, and a brother Marciano Morales Jr.
