Joaquin Berrones Alarcon, 84, of Snyder, Texas, was born December 1st, 1941, in Poteet, Texas.

Joaquin passed on June 2nd, 2026, in San Angelo, Texas, surrounded by his family. He lived a life defined by hard work and dedication to his family. He spent more than 20 years working in the oil field industry and 10 years at Western Texas College. His favorite hobbies were bird watching, wood carving, and music.

Joaquin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Though Joaquin's physical presence is no longer with us, his love, guidance, and the countless memories he created will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin Alarcon and Romana B. Alarcon; his brothers, Frank Alarcon and Raymond Alarcon; his sisters, Susie Pena, Pauline Carrisalez, and Eva Guerra; and his beloved granddaughter, Chelsea Alarcon.

Joaquin is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Roseana Alarcon; his brother, Johnny Alarcon; and his sister, Mary Helen Martinez. He is also survived by his children, Jessica Fuentez, Jacqueline Alarcon with Guy Graves, Joaquin III and Dede Alarcon , Jennifer and Larry Molini, and Jeanette and Daniel Garcia.

He further leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory forever.

There are no services planned at this time for Mr. Alarcon. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
