Mr. Velasquez was born on April 11, 1939, to Bennito and Trinidad (Sanchez) Velasquez in Lockhart, TX.
With broken hearts, we announce that our beloved father has gone home to be with the Lord.
Our dad was the definition of a hardworking man. He spent his life making sure his family was taken care of, never complaining, never slowing down. He carried the weight of responsibility with strength and determination. Everything he did, he did for his family.
Our dad was a member of Our Lady Of Guadalupe for over 50 years. He also served as a Crucillista.
Some of our best memories are of him doing what he loved most. Leading VP softball with his boys, Bowling, Hunting, fishing, and golfing with his sons, or barbecuing for family and friends. He was happiest when his family and his friends were around him.
Our dad's legacy lives on through his loving wife, his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him.
Though our hearts are broken, we are thankful for the life he lived.
