It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of José Larrea, a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. José passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Albert Devanson officiating.. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Born with a vibrant spirit and a heart full of generosity, José was married to his beloved wife, Yadira Larrea, on January 15, 1993. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, loyalty, and laughter. His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his daughters, Lindzey Gonzales (married to Justin Gonzales) and Bianca Larrea, and his sons, Jose Escamilla and Manuel Sandoval.
He was a proud grandfather to Jayden Sandoval, Keellon Sandoval, Harper Sandoval, and Braxton Gonzales, who were the light of his world. Whether cheering from the sidelines at their games or making them laugh with his big personality, José loved being their biggest fan.
A hard-working truck driver, José took great pride in his work and the friendships he made along the road. When not behind the wheel, he could often be found enjoying the simple pleasures of life, watching soccer, caring for his pets, cruising in his red F-150 oldie, or scratching off lottery tickets with hope and a grin. He was an extrovert in every sense, the kind of man who could make anyone laugh and light up any room he walked into.
José is survived by his loving parents, Ignacio and Aurelia Larrea; his devoted wife, Yadira Larrea; his children, Lindzey Gonzales, Bianca Larrea, Jose Escamilla, and Manuel Sandoval; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Keellon, Harper, and Braxton. He is also survived by his siblings Yahadira Rodriguez, Elodia Espinoza, Edgar Larrea, Nando Larrea, Jaime Larrea, Fabian Larrea, Aurelio Larrea, and Eliodoro Larrea, and preceded in death by his siblings Nely Prieto and Gerardo Larrea.
Above all else, José loved his wife and daughters beyond measure. His laughter, strength, and warmth will forever echo in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Though he may no longer be with us, his memory will continue to bring smiles, laughter, and love to all who carry him in their hearts.
There is no Rosary planned at this time. Mr Larreas viewing will be in the chapel from 9AM-8PM on Thursday and Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale.
