Jose Zamora Suarez

Joe Suarez, 83, passed away Sunday July 12, 2026 in Cedar Park, Texas after a lengthy illness. Funeral mass is set for 10:00 am on Monday July 20, 2026 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Snyder. Burial will follow in Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell Cypert Seale.

Joe was born on April 9, 1943 in Seguin, Texas. Joe married Lupe Suarez on September 8, 1966. Joe was a hard worker who enjoyed working in the Auto Body Industry. He worked as an Auto Body Repairman for 40 years. He spent time working at the Ford and Chevrolet Shops in Snyder, Texas. He also worked at Andy's Paint & Body Shop, Mark's Paint Shop, and Leatherwood's. Joe and his wife were members of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Snyder for many years.

Joe and his family relocated to Seguin, Texas in 2003 which brought him back to his hometown where he was born and raised. He continued his Auto Body career working at Double D Trucking until his retirement. Joe and his wife also became members of St. James Catholic Church in Seguin, Texas. Joe was a loving father and husband and he will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lupe Suarez, who passed away just 11 months ago. It can be said that the void in his life was too great as they enjoyed 59 years of marriage prior to her passing.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, his four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by,

1 daughter,

Mary Ann Suarez/Maria of Georgetown, Texas;

3 sisters,

Diana Puente (Felix),

Gloria Castillo of Snyder,

and Matilda Fant (Charles) of Amarillo, Texas;

and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to those who were able to visit Joe prior to his passing, I know he is rejoicing in heaven as he has been reunited with his loving wife.
