Margarito Barrera Ramos Jr.

Margarito Barrera Ramos Jr., 67, of Snyder, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2026.

JR was born on June 11, 1959, in Snyder, Texas, to Margarito Ramos Sr. and Evangelina Ramos.

JR was a man who enjoyed life and the people around him. He loved listening to music and playing the drums, participating in sports, watching movies, and helping others whenever he could. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and took great pride in cheering on his favorite team. As a painter by trade, JR was known for his strong work ethic, and he also enjoyed working on cars in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Pineda-Ramos; his father, Margarito Ramos Sr, mother Evangelina Ramos; and his brothers, Mark Ramos and Augustine Ramos.

JR leaves behind many cherished family members who will forever treasure his memory. He is survived by his son, Ismael Pineda; his daughters, Stephanie Ramos and Krystal Ramos; his brothers, Edward Ramos, Arthur Ramos, and Elias Ramos (Michelle) of Snyder, Texas; and his sisters, Sylvia Salazar of Coahoma, Texas, Thelma Ramos-Ochoa (Rosauro) of Snyder, Texas, and Margarita Roberts (James) of Peoria, Arizona.

He is also survived by a large and loving family, including 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

JR's kindness, sense of humor, and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Memorial Services

Memorial services will be held on June 29, 2026, at House of Prayer, 3401 Ave M, Snyder, Texas, at 2:00 pm
