Mercedes Delgado Vargas Rodriguez

Mrs. Mercedes Delgado Vargas Rodriguez, 97, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Avir of Snyder, TX. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Snyder, TX. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born on July 28, 1929, to Juan and Maria (Cardenas) Delgado in Ozona, TX. She married Leon Vargas on December 21, 1949 in Ozona, TX. He preceded her in death in 1994. She later married Raul Rodriguez on January 11, 2004, in Snyder, TX, at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Mercedes was a housekeeper at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home, Spanish Inn, and Cogdell Memorial for many years. He was also a teachers aid at the Lincoln School. She was a member of the Guadalupanas at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Herminia Trevino of Fort worth, TX;

19 Great-Grandchildren;

And 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her,

Juan and Maria Delgado;

Raul Rodriguez;

2 Sisters,

Ethel Britton,

A rosary will be recited from 6-7 Pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
