Mrs. Monica Jill Lacy, 48 of Ballinger, Tx passed on Thursday November 27, 2025 at Ballinger Memorial Hospital.

Services for Monica will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 10 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Pastor Cody Wall officiating. Burial will follow at Cottonwood Flats Cemetery, Scurry County, TX. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Monica was born on October 25, 1977 in Big Spring, Tx to her parents, Jim Bob Roberson and Penny Pate Roberson. She married the love of her life, Bryan Lacy, on December 31, 2023, at her aunt's home in Snyder, Tx. Monica had an immense love for her family. She enjoyed working cattle with her husband rain or shine, sitting out in a deer blind, and spending time with the people she loved. She worked at Hargrove Crop Insurance helping farmers far and wide for over 20 years, with a great group of people who had a passion for farming and ranching. She was a loving mother to her children Kaden, Gemma, and Skylar. She never failed to show how proud she was of all her children's accomplishments. She was always there to cheer them on whether it was a sports game, a graduation, or a piano recital. She was known as Aunt Monica, Momo and by her father, Red but the name she held most dear was mom or mama. Her children Kaden, Gemma and Skylar, husband Bryan, and mother Penny were the center of her world.

She will be missed immensely, by her family and close knit group of friends.

She is survived by; her loving husband Bryan Lacy of Ballinger, Tx, their children, Kaden Stone of Denton, Tx, Gemma and Skylar Lacy of San Angelo, Tx, her Mother: Penny Roberson of Snyder, Tx, one Nephew: Carter Roberson and wife Jenna of Midland, Tx, Two nieces: Taeler Roberson of Snyder, Tx and Randi T Lacy of North Carolina, and one great niece Milli Harb of North Carolina. Sister-in-law Jackie Roberson, two aunts Patricia West and Peggy Jordan of Snyder, Tx, Mother-in-law: Patty Schniers of San Angelo, Tx Brother-in-law: Randy Joe Lacy of San Angelo, Tx, Uncle Mark Jessen of San Angelo, TX, Uncle Billy Clyde and wife Zale Roberson of Elk City, Ok Cousins: Rebecca Price and her daughter Conley of Granbury, TX, Brenna Roberson of Snyder, TX, Bryant Roberson and daughter Alyssa of New Braunsels, TX as well as a countless number of dearly treasured friends.

She was preceded in death by: Her Father- Jim Bob Roberson, Brother Eric Roberson, Paternal Grandparents, I.B. and Charlcie Roberson, Maternal Grandparents Tommy and Shirley Pate, Uncles Iky Roberson, and Bill West.
