Mrs. Ophelia Braziel, 99, of Lockhart, TX, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at her home in Lockhart. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM, Friday, June 26, 2026 at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Ophelia Braziel was born May 27th, 1927 in Taylor, Texas, departed this world Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Ophelia leaves to mourn her passing her two children, Mamie Eckford (Arthur Eckford) of Lockhart, Texas, Larry Braziel (Frances Braziel) of Snyder, Texas. She also leaves to mourn her passing five grandchildren, Patrick Eckford of Ft. Worth, Brigette, Lawren, and Ryan of Snyder, and Wayne (Tammy) of Corsicana, Texas.

As well as 11 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Ophelia was raised by her grandparents, had one sister and six brothers all proceeding her in death.
