Tommy Glyn Pate

Tommy Glyn Pate, 89 of Snyder, Tx passed away Sat. June 7, 2025. A graveside service for Mr. Pate will be held at 10 AM Monday, June 9, 2025, at Snyder Cemetery with Mr. Troy Lilly officiating and Hospice Chaplin Kinney Robinson assisting. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

The eldest of two sons born in Nolan City, Tx on Oct. 24, 1935 to W.R. (Bill & Mae Pate. His family moved to Scurry Cty, Tx in 1944 where they farmed 160 acres.

On July 25, 1954 Tommy married Shirley Lilly & together they raised three daughters Peggy, Penny & Patricia.

Farming was Tommy's passion but serving the Lord & taking care of his family along with his cherished farmland were his main priorities.

Preceding him were his parents, his wife Shirley of 59 years a brother, Gene and one grandson Eric Roberson.

Survivors include his three daughters Peggy Jordan, Penny Roberson & Patricia West all of Snyder, Tx. Two granddaughters Monica Lacy & Rebecca Price &four great-grandchildren Carter & Taeler Roberson, Kaden Stone & Conley Price. Sister-in-law Dian Pate & brother-in-law Troy Lilly. Last but not least two dear friends Morris Head & Cledon Coffman.

A very sincere thanks to Tommy's three private caregivers Maria Rangel, Marylou Orosco & Marie Durst. We greatly appreciate all your tender care, compassion & love you showed our dad. He truly loved you all. You truly were a gift from God to our dad.
