Virginia Rose Williams

Mrs. Virginia Rose Williams, 84, of Hermleigh, TX, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX, after her battle with cancer. She was born on January 7, 1942 in Roscoe, TX, to Aubrey and Rosie (Kuss) Williams. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Scurry County.

She is survived by sisters Janie Sullenger of Snyder, TX, Ruby Gates of San Antonio, and brother David Williams of Snyder, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and longtime friend and caregiver Tommie Lynn Reynolds, and Father Alexander Amburose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Aubrey Gene Williams, sister Betty Thompson, and brothers-in-law Rodger Sullenger, Ned Gates and Derwin Thompson, and nephew Stephen Sullenger.

A rosary will be on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 6 PM, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 07, 2026, at 2 PM, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Hermleigh and interment will follow at Hermleigh Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
